Anyone Surprised that Iraq is the "New Iran"?

It follows from Diana's excellent article that Iraq is becoming our New Vietnam with Kho-me-nie as Ho Chi Minh, Baghdad as the New Saigon and Iran as conquering North Vietnam. Warnings of this takeover began during the 04 campaign when Iraq and Vietnam, because of John Kerry, became burning issues; and this warning was especially strong during the last presidential campaign with candidates Hillary Clinton and John McCain. Hillary was born on the day that Great Britain withdrew its forces from Iraq; and 20 years later to that date, October 26, 1967, John McCain was taken prisoner by North Vietnam where he suffered in a hell whole for years.
