Most of my adult life has been intertwined with the Kennedy family. As a freshman at American University in 1960, I stayed up late watching the election returns, as John F. A Surprising Friendship
The one moral trait that I most admired in Ted Kennedy, the man and politician, is totally lacking in Barack Obama: his unfailing honesty. Kennedy was a conviction politician and man of his word who stood on principle and boldly and fearlessly spoke the truth as he saw it, however mistaken he might be. While Obama is a gutless, lying, cowardly fool; a girlie man who hides his radical views-a spineless dissembler who projects an image of uncertainty, confusion and weakness in the world. In this respect Ted Kennedy was a profile in courage worthy of praise; while Obama's lies are as long as his legs and his integrity's no bigger than his shoe size.
