The continuing resolutions contained the TARP which along with the bailouts were, in fact, signed by Bush.

"the last budget signed by George W. Bush and passed by the Democratic Congress (for fiscal year 2008) amounted to $2.77 trillion with a deficit of $459 billion. " This is a typical Medved lie. The last budget signed by Bush was for the fiscal year ending Sep 30, 2009 which saw the single largest deficit in history, over $1.4 trillion. This hideous monstrosity was due to the TARP which Bush, Obama and McCain all supported. Medved is a Republican hack and as such still argues that Bush was a "near great" president. Bush was an abomination who's spineless term in office made the US ripe for a takeover by Obama. Obama is the logical progression of Bush. Bush increased spending from 18% of GDP to 21% of GDP. Obama expanded it to 24% of GDP

Bill Press is just being consistent. He believes that wealth is a zero sum game therefore if one person is rich it is because he stole wealth from someone else. Apparently, for Press courage is also a zero sum game. If the people of one country are courageous it is because they have stolen the courage of other nations and it is Press's duty to see that the courage is returned. Perhaps Press will advocate a redistribution of courage so that no nation might have more courage than another. After all, if no one were braver than anyone else there would be no wars. Press should consider moving to Zimbabwe. There's little courage in a country cowed by an oppressive government and no freedom at all.

Ron Paul Wins 32/40 Delegates in Minnesota

If Ron Paul's people take over the Republican party then we can survive either Obama or Romney. The only advantage I see in Romney is that he wouldn't have the guts to fight the Republican party in order to expand the government. How many times can Romney try to "reach across the aisle" if he always gets his hand slapped when he does it? On the other hand, with an anti-Obama congress Obama becomes the White House lawn ornament. What we need are congressmen who are more afraid of us than they are of the Democrats and the media.
True, but his movement is less than six years old and the ideas he holds are timeless.
So Romney is the new Reagan? ROTFLMAO! Romney couldn't kiss Reagan's shoes. Romney is a joke. He can't hold the same position for an entire week. By the time of the election half of the Republicans won't vote for him because he favors a trade war with China and the other half won't vote for him because he wants free trade with China. He's held both of those positions. Heck, he's held both sides of every issue. It's like voting for Silly Putty.
"make everybody pay FICA on their entire income" That's a 14% increased tax rate on all income above $108,000! It would take down the entire economy.
Obama will capture the youth vote and they will come out. He's offering them thousands of dollars in student loan payment reductions. How could they resist. Obama will coast to a win because the Republicans have found another "designated loser" to run against him. Last time they ran a big government Republican. This time they're running a big government Republican with good hair. The libertarian wing of the party won't show up to vote for Tweeedle-Dee over Tweedle-Dum. The Republican party has been defecating on us since the Goldwater election and we've had enough. You want Romney, fine. You're on your own.
The only way to stop "illegal immigrants" from collecting one or more of the various forms of welfare offered in the US is to eliminate those programs. Those who come here to sponge off Americans will go home, Those who came to work will stay. Pew has recently released a study that showed that Mexicans were returning to Mexico because of the loss of jobs during the recession even though food stamps and other programs were expanded. Therefore you might say that the most successful anti illegal immigrant program was started by Bush and expanded by Obama. That program is the destruction of the American economy.
