the pollsters has no profit in skewing the polls (in either direction). they would be out of business pretty fast if they did. except for Fox news: they are soooo in the tank for Obama! and by the way, Rassumusan may have been 'correct' in predicting the outcome in 2008, but so was everyone else. except, Rassumusan was the one of the least accurate throughout the whole campaign season. in the swing states, they were consistently underestimating Obama's lead by a factor of 2: in OH, FL, MI, WI, etc. going into sept/oct, the other polls predicted the swing states outcomes much better than Rassumusan. Rassumusan many not be biased, but that doesn't mean they are good at what they do.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Mitt Romney attracting 48% of the vote, while President Obama earns 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided.
