All he has to do if re-define who the 'traitors' or 'terrorists' are and you too could experience the thrill of having one of those missiles flying up your exhaust pipe.

Now THAT would be funny if it weren't such a horrible subject. You think the evil Muslims are under every bed. And you're accusing someone, who has seen the leaked memos guiding law enforcement to suspect "limited government activists" of terrorism, of being paranoid.

Corbett: Quit imagining all those hobgoblins under your bed. You are laughable.

AParvus: I doubt that since I'm not in Yemen or Somaliland actively working with cells of Muslim jihadis.

You hit the nail on the head. Does anyone think that big brother is going to stop using his fun little toys that flash and go bang when he drags his weary, bankrupt carcass home from all those foreign adventures?

A wounded dying beast can do a lot of damage as it flops around in it's death throes.

It wouldn't even require him to make a redefinition. Remember, anyone who supports limited, constitutional government is defined as a "potential terrorist".
"When the president does it, that means that it is not illegal."

So said Richard Nixon in his interviews with David Frost. Nixon was talking about wiretaps and surreptitious entries to protect lives and safeguard national security in a violent and anarchic war decade.

The Nixon haters pronounced themselves morally sickened.

Fast forward to our new century. For, since 9/11, we have heard rather more extravagant claims by American presidents.

Under George W. Bush, it was presidential authority to waterboard, torture, rendition and hold enemy aliens in indefinite detention at Guantanamo.

Under Barack Obama, we don't have a Nixon "enemies list"...
