The first thing the left in your country needs to do is stop interfering with the prosecution of serious criminals, and stop protesting about how they are punished. We have watched your cable news channels over here to see Hollywood actors and others screaming against the executions of killers of police officers and how your president keeps delaying the trial of your Army Major who killed 13 and injured many more at Ft. Hood almost 4 years ago. That is pathetic, over here those people would have been executed within a year of being convicted. But what's more pathetic is that while they scream to keep these killers alive they also scream to be able to continue murdering unborn babies. Hypocrisy like this is outrageous.

Thank you for your message. The president has nothing at all whatsoever to do with the prosecution of the accused at Fort Hood. This is a matter of military law, adn is being handled very professionally by Army prosecutors. As we are a nation of laws, we must wait patiently while those appointed do their work.

The NRA’s statement about the meeting confirms that that White House was never interested in having an honest, inclusive debate about how to prevent tragedies like Newtown from happening again, but rather, is focused on its “agenda to attack the Second Amendment.”
