Now, Imagine what would have happened if we had taken the money we've wasted propping up Israel and fighting wars over there, and invested it into an alternative energy program. - Reactors, biofuels, solar, etc.

i say we already are ,BP is huge biofuel development and solar ,Chevron is heavily invested in nuclear ,solar and biofuels . Thats why they are called energy companys. I know that capitolism is a hard concept to grasp for the hopelessly deluded ,but it does and has worked well when allowed to . Try note to choke on your hateraid .
Born in 1920s Brooklyn, Irving Kristol grew to become one of America's leading conservative columnists and authors.  Kristol was a founder and publisher of a number of conservative publications, including The National Interest.  He was a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a fellow emeritus with the American Enterprise Institute.
