Let me get this straight. As a minority, I can outbid average white guy by overbidding & still get the contract? Just because I'm not white? I think I like this redistribution thing after all.
wait til' you see the polls of an informed public on Slap 'n Tax, Mean Energy, US Constitution Rewrite, Anti-sovereign foreign policy, etc.

High income tax; high real estate tax; anti-business regulations; no sales tax.
ENCOURAGES
Businesses to leave; welfare recipients to stay.
PROOF IN THE PUDDING
Almost highest unemployment in the nation. Reliance on government for future job growth. Politicians explanation of private industry growth is limited to "green" jobs or infrastructure (taxpayer-funded) employment.

Consecutive Term? I Think Not!

I worked in state government w/ a corrupt machine years ago. I was fortunate to work in a mostly honest department, but we still had to deal w/ "the legislature". Corrupt minds work full time plotting their future. This is part of the problem. Limiting to one term at a time only changes their focus to "what can I get after I'm out & how can I support the candidate to save my place & keep the most control over for my chosen political party affiliation".

In other words, this enables corrupt machines to stay in place & spread their influence. "If you don't play ball,(think Geo. Soros)you're out. There's more where you came from."

I found this article quaint, naive & entertaining in a refreshingly idealistic way. Wishing...
Take it back, vote them out. Yes! But, term limits will not stop the idiots in Congress. Think it through. First let me state that I am an unapologetic Conservative. If your district or state has an honest pro constitutionalist in office. Do you really intend to force out the best voice of the people? And, replace with what? Are our schools turning out fine upstanding citizens w/ high ethical values?

No. We have ourselves to blame for not keeping vigilance. What if our current Congress was able to assume they couldn't be reelected anyway? Do you think any amount of pressure from "we the people" would influence even one RINO or blue dog vote. Not one whit.

Our power & influence comes when we call, write, email, etc....

No matter what the Demos say, a GOP face voting for the health fiasco would have been something worse for the nation. Thanks 23 NY for preventing further subversive claims of bi-partisan support.
If it doesn't lower costs, it's not health care reform.
