you are a hypocrite if you complain about obama-romneycare, but support other unconstitutional mandates like socialist security and medicare. if the republicans have drifted so far to the left that they now embrace the socialism of FDR and LBJ, why should we not think that it is only a matter of time unti they embrace the socialism of barry hussein soetoro?? no wonder socialist-lite chameleon romney won the nomination over constitutionalist ron paul.

I've paid into SS and Medicare and all other govt. 'programs' for over 25 years. Do I get my money back before you 'eliminate' them? Silly twit...

Good point. But it's a purist point and not a real world point.

Like saying we should never have gotten cancer.

SS and Medicare are facts, and they're not going to go away, even if they should.
The real question is what to do about them now.

And the real problem (that republicans are fighting) is that we didn't learn not to add more to them.
So you can just sit back and crow about the fact that we shouldn't have gotten cancer in the first place, or help us control its spread.

"crow" ?? meaning that i comment on any unpleasant truth that exposes republican hypocrasy ?? pershaps YOU should heed your own advice about crowing.

What difference does it make if Republicans "support socialist security and medicare" or not since the law requires participation?
anti-neocon Wrote: Nov 16, 2012 2:38 PM
is that supposed to be a serious question?? of course the republicans who claim to be conservatives and oppose socialism should have at least tried to change the laws that "require participation".

it's amazing how much exposing the hypocrisy of the republican party upsets you.
Exactly two years ago this week, the Obama administration announced it had issued more than 100 waivers en masse to a select group of companies, unions and other health insurance providers seeking relief from the onerous federal health care law. The Obamacare waiver winner's club now totals 2,000. Where are they now?

Answer: In the same miserable boat as every other unlucky business struggling with the crushing costs and burdens of the mandate.

Among the first and most prominent recipients of the Obamacare waivers for favors were large restaurant chains that provide low-wage, seasonal and part-time workers with low-cost health insurance plans called...
