ron paul's admonition to butt out and mind our own business must be listened to, or we will have more enemies and be in more danger. being the world's police is absolute foolishness and is a major reason our republic is so deep in debt.

more ridiculous rubbish from RINOphile coulter. there is NOTHING AT ALL that proves any point she is trying to make.. bringing up some of reagan's liberal views has got nothing to do with "romney was not the problem". at the end of the day, romney was never conservative, never had constitutional positions on the issues, and was not even electalbe.

billy, there were polls taken to see how well each of the repubican candidates would do head-to-head against obama. the numbers for paul and romney were very close. some polls had paul doing better against obama than romney.

like ron paul says, cut MILITARY spending without cutting DEFENSE spending.

i thought even ron paul's $1 TRILLION in the first year was not enough. even more than that needs to be cut to avoid disaster. the "ryan plan" was an absolute JOKE!!

there were many reasons the democrat-lite party rejected ron paul. everything ron paul stood for, they are opposed to. it just looked better for them to ridicule his foreign policy than to ridicule his fiscal conservative policies. the democrat-lite party hates constitutional limited government just as much as the democrats. both are statist, big government, collectivist parties ( actually just 2 wings of a single big government party).

if government were actually limited to only it's constitutional roles, it would reduce spending by much more than 50%. unless we stop running a nanny state, policing the world, and looking to government to solve every problem, avoiding economic disaster is absolutely impossible.

maybe you should have voted for the candidate who had planned to cut $1 TRILLION in actual cuts in the first year.

"the spending wll continue as long as there is ink in the printer". what you are talking about is, of course, the federal reserve. it you really oppose this, you should have voted for ron paul. please read his book, End the Fed. why do you think depression is so far down the road? what's the price of gas in your state now?

when the republicans selected the massachusetts liberal over ron paul, they rejected the constitution, liberty, peace, and limited government, to embrace big government, the nanny state, endless war, and out of control spending. it's ridiculous that they still try to sell their collectivist party as "conservative".
