Backlash Hogwash

General George Casey needs to be relieved immediately from his Army Chief of Staff duties and ordered to retire. His PC comments on the Sunday talk shows demonstrated he is incapable of leading the United States Army. He is responsible for the PC climate in the Army that deterred other officers from reporting Major Hasan's actions and statements that violated numerous UCMJ articles. I served 27 years as an Air Force officer and never encountered such BS. All the men and women I served with were American soldiers. I never heard the term Muslim soldier or Catholic soldier or Jewish soldier or Baptish soldier.

Any backlash will be against Casey and other PC officers of his ilk. Soldiers judge each other by their abilities not...

"U.S. Homeland Security officials are working with groups around the United States to head off any possible anti-Muslim backlash following the shootings at Fort Hood in Texas."

The Department of Homeland Security is in good company in its confusion. Gen. George Casey, the Army's top general, also worried that "this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I've asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that." And President Obama cautioned against "jumping to conclusions."
