You just wanted to encourage others to make the efforts it takes to get what you have. I differ on is the concept of what people need to give: the formula is simple 100%, or all you have. The key to the success of it is that it only works if the other person is of a like mind and behavior. It doesn't matter of the people are extremely unequal in what they bring to the marriage, as long as they are both committed to giving eachother all they can, because when we know our partner is doing all they can, we can't reasonably be disappointed. The biggest problem is people entering the relationship without being completely honest with themself about what they want, need, and are willing to give.

Why is the Leftwing always intent on moving our country closer and closer to the failed experiments of the communists and socialists? Is all socialism and communism bad? Definitely not. I'm for picking the cherries wherever they grow, but that requires us to understand all of the implications of each change. We will either learn the smart way, or we'll learn the painful way, but we'll all learn together.

The ability of Congress to tax us is where the problem is rooted. They get away with all of their games, specifically because the vast majority of US are too busy working, and playing to be bothered with what Congress is doing to us. The IRS code is the single best example of government out of control. Obamacare is next at some 20K pages that no one read before voting for it ! Is Romneycare better? I have no idea. Does a poll you quote prove it is? I don't think so. What provisions are there to spur R&D while also holding down run-a-way costs? Who's picking up the tab for the illegals if not the rest of us? I'm pretty sure that the founding fathers would be considered revolutionaries - now called right wing extremists and terrorists.
Addicts live in total denial. Eventhough the know intellectually that they are going down the toilet literally, they successfully convince themself that everything is OK, until it actually blows up or they OD. That is the nature of the beast. That is why taking away the addict's candy is the only way to get them clean and sober. For government, that means starve the crap out of them!
I've never seen a bette summary on the subject than yours.
Your last line should be the first and last ! Being a good Samaritan is not a bad thing, but setting up a government system that enslaves people by enabling them to continue failed behaviors while also allowing them to vote for more government benefits for themselves is all wrong. The Bible says "give a man a fish, and he eats today. Teach a man to fish, and he feeds himself. What's so hard to understand about that? But then those idea come from the same Bible that so many people want burned, and the author's name removed from all public places!
You're 100% correct! He wrote the article because a) he's paid to write political articles, and b) he's attempting to connect the dots for those who have not been paying attention. You are right - nothing will open closed mind.
I don't need to watch it to know the article is correct, because I lived through the first version, saw what it did for the first Pres. Bush, and how the prosperity continued to the glory of Pres. Clinton who would never giver full credit to Ronald Reagan for building the engine and kick starting it while at the hight of the cold war.
Slow down cowboy. Getting rid of the IRS would be a major step forward in the right direction 17th & 28th Amendments? I'd have to look, but I'm guessing those are federal tax powers? Not so easy to amend the U.S. Constitution. If by a "flat tax" you mean a national sales tax, then I'd be for that if everyone pays the same % both individuals and businesses. Then there are no loopholes or special deals for anyone. Tariffs are the economic equivilent of warfare. Before you go there, you want to know a) there's no better way to resolve the problems, and b) we can win at this. I'm not sure we know enough, but we do know that treating our competition as adversaries will create enemies. And it's omportant to pick your enemies carefully.
Good one. But then Aldus Huxley proposed the answer to that one in Brave New World where all sex was soley for sport/pleasure, and reproduction was strictly controlled by the state pumping our test tube babies. As much as I dislike the politics of groups, I don't see hating anyone as the path to our mutual salvation.
