As I read the comments I wonder what the heck some of you folks has been reading? Don't you see Sowell points to each of us..and what WE have to offer, our ability. Its apparent the molding of our minds has been formed to believe govt programs, and force compliance to politically set structure will create an environment so all can achieve to the same level. This has never been done throughout history...and has been a successful scam on the American people. Politicians ignore the evidence as it benefits them to continue to use the less educated and poor to advance their careers, enrich the benefactors(campaign contributors) and create more govt despite the failure of existing agencies created on the promise of equally opportunities.

Raul, You are correct about the ethics violations..but look a little deeper or the 80-odds charges the Dems made...and the ONE...he was found guilty of. This is the way of Wash. My preferred candidate will probably not get the nomination...but Newt does offer the American people something no candidate has professed....fresh ideas and solutions. He also knows how to get things done...as he partnered with Clinton to make his 2nd term one grounded in fiscal responsibility..something which did not occur in his 1st term. Personally, unless Obama loses...and the Senate goes into GOP hands...the debt burden will continue....the add. 1.2 trillion Obama wants to add...will only provide us one year until it must be raised again

Its nice to see people who never ran a business know so much about how to run a business. Their "success" can be easily seen in the huge debt they accumulated and the stupid programs they initiate. No wonder the only place they can find employment is the govt where there is no penalty for failure, simply blame others, create a commission to investigate what went wrong..and BS the voters prior to the next election ajbruno14@gmail.com
