Companies are leaving the US because they can increase their profits by using cheap foriegn labor. Very few of the jobs being lost are union jobs.

What ticks me off is the unions are allowed contribute to political campaigns. Union membership generally vote around 65/35 in favor of the democrats. The union should not be allowed to take membership dues and supply it to either party.
