And its a shame. We conservatives dropped the ball with Ron Paul. We missed an oppurtunity to elect a president who would ACTUALLY BALANCE THE F#ing BUDGET. Republican congress seems to have forgotten what fiscal conservatism means. Romney merely wanted to shave a bit off of the top of increases in spending. Paul Ryan wanted to balance the budget 40 years from now. And then there is Ron Paul, whose plan would have balanced our budget in 3 years AND he is one of the few whose voting record backs up what he says. Conservatives were given a truely conservative Constitutionalist and we slandered his name and ostricized libertarians from the Republican party. We lost the race and we've lost what we stand for.

Former Rep. Ron Paul apparently isn't quite ready to leave the spotlight. Today on his Twitter feed, the failed presidential candidate decided to opine on the recent murder of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who was helping a fellow soldier recover from PTSD at the time he was killed.
