Oh they don't? Did Bibi tell you that? Deliberately forcing half a million people in Gazza into poverty conditions is not a hostility? Does targeting Gaza's water facilities, which spreads disease and inhuman conditions, constitute a hostility? What about the economic blockade that ensures Gaza stays in poverty like conditions? Is that a hostility? Don't confuse me for loving Hamas. I just want to point out Israel's part in the conflict.

Why do we still support the UN?

Despite recent conflict in Gaza, which erupted after Israel decided to no longer tolerate the constant barrage of rocket fire across its border, the UN General Assembly has decided to recognize Palestine as a state. This afternoon, it granted Palestine “non-member observer state” status.

Doing nothing to ease US and Israel’s apprehension regarding the vote, UN Secretary General sent out a mistaken tweet urging a one-state solution:
