It may unite people that want another middle east war. But it doesn't unite our military. Its a curious thing that many of our top generals say war with Iran would be a disaster. Iraq is strangly still being fought, just look how many americans have died there lately. Afganistan is a quagmire, no exit strategy, unrest all over the place, no clear definition of what victory looks like, and again, lots of americans dying over there. If we go to war with Iran, you can bet your bottom dollar it will turn into another military occupation with no end in sight. The war will be fought on borrowed money since we don't have any money to go to war with. Our military will be stretched even thinner. Suicide in the military would likely increase.

It would be insane to "go to" war with Iran.
