Traditional republicans can think what they want about libertarians. However, they would be wise to accept libertarians into the GOP with open arms. I sincerely beleive the survival of the GOP depends completely on whether or not they accept libertarians. The fact is libertarianism is popular amungst young people. Traditional republicanism is not popular amongst young people ANYWHERE. I'm serious. Traditional republcians, I'm not arguing against your beliefs here. I am pointing out that you are a dying breed, libertarianism is not. There just simply are not droves of young people excited about being republicans, not even in conservative states. The GOP must be the big tent party and welcome libertarians or the GOP is done. Plain and simple.

Last week, Conservative pundit Ann Coulter told me and a thousand young libertarians that we libertarians are puss- -- well, she used slang for a female body part.

We were in Washington, D.C., at the Students for Liberty conference, taping my TV show, and she didn't like my questions about her opposition to gay marriage and drug legalization.
