I wish he was more like his father actually. It seems he does not have the same backbone. He feels he needs to play the "inclusive" political game. That game in the end just means believe and support what gets you the most votes. Not what is the best for individual freedoms.
The definition of conservative is the issue .. what the heck does it mean? To me it used to mean "limited government" period. but for people like you "social conservative" does not always mean leave the government out of social affairs.
funny thing I am now watching "The Patriot" our founders fought for exactly what these folks want. To exercise their natural right to express and exercise their religion. Part of that is to teach their children what they want. And if your government was trying to force you to send your child to a school that you disagreed with and wanted to take them away from you for homeschooling them how you choose.... what would you do?
one of the main things that we fought for here to become a nation ... and now they are appealing and saying it isnt a natural right. Big difference between our founders and current leaders(I say that but they are not so much)

I agree.... then again so was Romney. And by that and Mccain being pushed by them from day one of their respective campaigns. it seems the GOP leadership is basically what the Dems used to be. There are not rue individual freedom lovers and true free market lovers left. What we have now is cronyism run amok on both sides of the isle ... jsut one leans more marxist than the other. Both believe government can and should control the economy and the people.. they just believe it can in different ways. I expect again the GOP to choose and push though the socialist leaning person they can frame as a conservative. All the while the real limited government freedom lovers will be demagogued.

Well he certainly should not have become Obama's #1 campaign Stop. And to you Chicago Undercover. I in no way are what you say. I actually speak my mind on the people that supposedly believe in smaller government but when it comes down to it don't want their pie touched. Nothing about what my opinions on Obama will even make a dent in the think skulls of his followers anyway.

The most popular governor in the country? A bit more definition of that would be appreciated. Certainly not!
YOU seem to be missing another key point. Over reaching regulations have been around for quite some time. Obamacare just is causing a tipping point.

If it is by a private org .. what is the big deal ... this article tried to make it seem like it was a gov operation. They did disclose it in the article but still.
Yes, Bush and a dem controlled congress did ... what is your point. And what does it have to do with this article?
