President Obama's comment sounds like a typical one that stems from a guilty conscience, having committed or abetted an abortion. Did President Obama have a son and get rid of him? He certainly defends abortion for any and every reason, another sign of having a personal stake in it. Statistically, abortion rates of black babies are the highest in the nation.
William, The problem with environmentalism is the disorder of the ideology. Environmentalism usually substitutes the environment for God, which is idolatry. Idolatry always results in death and a slide into immorality. Remember the British TV ad that explodes people, including children, who don't comply? And the zero-population growth people identifying people as a cancer on the earth. Culture of death. As far as homosexual issues, there is no such thing as same-sex marriage. Marriage can only occur between male and female humans. Counterfeits are lies, and lies hurt everyone. Read Romans chapter 1 to see where lies about God and his creation lead people. --Dean from Ohio

But there are bright signs here too. Christian organizations such as CRU are seeing HUNDREDS of young men and women put their faith in Christ! There is a Pregnancy Resource Center club who had an abortion survivor speak last year, and the PRC now has a 4D ultrasound just half a block from campus. Ratio Christi is earning persecution from the wicked the old fashioned way. Just a month ago, a Christian spoke convincingly at a 5-expert panel on major religions put on by none other than the Muslim Students Association. Pray for Ohio University!

The university pays a full time gay guy who helps people slide into and stay in the homosexual lifestyle. No way would they pay a guy to help kids get out of the homosexual lifestyle. The university's lawyers are devoted to realpolitik. They quietly paid out tens of thousands of dollars to people whose car paint was damaged by coal dust, but didn't publicize it one bit until the student paper picked it up. My guess is they would fold in the face of FIRE quicker than President Obama in front of Iranian dictators.

I'm an Ohio University employee, and I see this stuff close up. The university administration is bloated, cowardly, legalistic, foolish and at times duplicitous. That is to say, it's typical of secular state schools. Here are some examples: In his "State of the University" speech recently, University President Roderick McDavis hailed the establishment of "gender neutral housing" that lets boys and girls share a room if they are more comfortable that way, but only if they don't desire each other in a healthy, normal way. Twice each year, the SAC and the Black Student Programming Board sponsor rap concerts the most vile, mysogynistic, depraved lyrics. Administrators let students have what they want to keep tuition coming.

They can enter into heterosexual marriage like anyone else. Don't twist good laws to fit disordered desires.

Last month I waited 45 minutes for a taxi at the end of a regional bus line from Boston's Logan airport. It was after 11 pm, but I was told that this one driver was the only one who would come. He came and I paid more than $50 for a 10 mile drive, without a meter. I was glad to do it, on my business expense account. My alternative was calling my colleague in the hotel for a ride in his rental car. I can't believe no one else would really want to come pick me up. More "do as I say, not as I do" from the corrupt liberal demos in the northeast and in that sinkhole known as Taxachussetts.
You must be black. There's no other way you could be so deceived.
