Elizabeth; I had always thought I knew our history. As I read this book the madder I got. First at myself and then at our school system for not teaching our true history and just how much the black members of our country have given to our freedom. I cannot help but believe, if the truth this book portrays were known, many people would have a different attitude about the political party they so fondly believe in.
