GOVT Equality standards mean that Doctor "Joe" who is not a woman or targeted minority is required to meet standard X*2. But, in third party equalization standards, the Woman or targeted minority need only be X-2 to qualify. The dumbing down and lowering of standards to meet the visions of third party groups is not beneficial to anyone. The vast majority of human beings don't care what gender, race, religion, age, etc.,.. A person is. They only, and I, only care if they meet or exceed standard X*2. The greater the doctor is above X*2, the greater that doctor is in demand.

A senior Defense Department official said the ban on women in combat should be lifted because the military's goal is "to provide a level, gender-neutral playing field." I'd like to think the goal of the military should be to have the toughest, meanest fighting force possible. But let's look at "gender-neutral playing field."
