The false narrative of FDR and his leading the US out of Depression. It was FDR follies that prolonged the Recession and turned into a great depression. The AAA, NRA, WPA, etc.,... All contributed heavily to destroying economic recovery. Not until war destroyed the entire industrialized world, leaving only the US infrastructure unscathed and instantly ready for large scale manufacturing output, did the US recover. Well, if there were ten widget makers.... And 9 of them have their manufacturing sites explode... Wouldn't you become the biggest and wealthiest widget maker?
