I am 57 and know that SSI has been squandered already, I would personally vote for all these ponzi schemes to be ceased immediately. the contributions I have made were never mine they were just another tax for the general slush fund and they owe me nothing accept the knowledge that future generations can keep their own money and save for their own benefit. we can not act as though we have not known for ages what was written on the wall. an IOU from the govt is an obligation on our children. as bad as we have allowed things to get we owe them this much.
