I'm so tired of the "war of lies" cr#p. Here are just two quotes from Democrats when Billy Boy was president and wanted to get tough: "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." -Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998 "He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." --Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998 I've got 20 or so more, if you're interested (which you probably aren't).
I would amend this only a little: These quotes and supporting arguments hold wisdom that even the skeptic (if he or she is intellectually honest) can appreciate. That's what is such a marvel about the teachings of the Bible and words of Christ. If this wisdom was taught and woven into daily life, work, and politics, the world would be a better place -- closer to that utopia secularists are so enamored of than they will ever achieve.
A disheartening article, and yes, it does break the heart. In all their great new-found wisdom, liberals are experimenting on ALL our children, not just their own. The question is: What do we do? How do we reach the minds of Americans who have been brainwashed into accepting this patent lie about families and children? How can we be heard past the screams of "Bigot! Homophobe! Hater! Liar!"? When people have been trained to turn off and tune out whenever they hear the first word of an opposing argument, as so many liberals have, how do you begin a discussion? We're helpless against this government, so how do we start the reversal and healing closer to home?
I am deeply saddened by this betrayal, but not shocked. It's a sign of our times. Boehner's "convictions" are skin deep only and can change at a moment's notice, depending on which way the political winds are blowing. He is spineless and completely lacking in moral strength. He's the type of Republican we must retire from serving, as he only serves himself and the power players, not the people.
Too bad it didn't do the opposite and put him to sleep for the next three years. Then maybe we all could catch our breath and feel safer.

Bravo! I'd say "Eleanor32 for President 2016!" but I don't think you'd really appreciate it.

Your ignorance is showing. RINO means Republican in name only. Lordy, how do you function in life with half a brain?

So, then, why do you liberals hate Nixon so much? Clearly he was performing as a liberal. Why all the vitriol even to this day? He also ended the Democrat-started and escalated war in Vietnam. But he gets no love for that either. Thought all you libs hate war and would be grateful. You all are SO CONFUSED!
Also no screaming claims that Obama hates white people, so let them DIE.
Excuse me? The Civil War -- started by Democrats. Entry into the Spanish American War -- pushed by the Democratic Party. WWI -- Woodrow Wilson, Democrat. WWII -- Franklin Roosevelt, Democrat. Korean War -- Truman, Democrat; Vietnam -- Johnson, Democrat. Involvement in Bosnia and Herzegovina -- Clinton (he promised we'd be out in 6 months). Better read your history. Even our current entanglements in the Middle East were approved by Democrats in Congress until it seemed politically useful to switch sides.
