Something is either legal or illegal. This "gray" area is garbage. I'm sorry if these "kids" (30 years old?) have parents willing to break the law and subject them to the eventual consequences. That doesn't mean that we set aside the rule of law. When society starts ruling by how things feel (bad/good) rather than by what is best for society, we're all in trouble. It feels bad to send these people back to their country, but the law has been broken. Let them take it up with their crummy parents (who may actually be nice, hard-working people, but . . . )

Many conservatives reject President Obama's recent policy to defer action against illegal immigrants who came to the United States as children. But as a conservative who supports the president's decision, I think it's important to seriously engage the arguments both for and against the policy.
