If all the oil in the shale were there because the oil companies had accidentally spilled it, the libs would demand that the government force the oil companies to use fracking to clean up the spills. Of course the recovered oil would have to be bagged and disposed of as hazardous waste, instead of letting us use it. Any negative side effects of fracking such as the ones complained about now, would be dismissed as "a small price to pay for cleaning up the environment".
Remember, they are Republicans, so they will undoubtedly move the spotlight to something where they cannot possibly win. This is how Republicans so artfully "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory".
I do avoid those states in every way I can. I even avoid purchasing items on eBay from those states. Whenever I can purchase the same or similar item from another state (even if it costs a bit more) I'll do that. I encourage others to do the same.

Media Pans Obama's "Apology"

Of course, the GOP is trying to help Obama out on Obamacare, by drafting legislation that will delay the individual mandate. They are essentially taking some of the sting out of this turd. I say, leave it alone and let it collapse under its' own weight!
Why are these idiot Republicans trying to make Obamacare more palatable? Seems to me that they should leave it alone, and let it sink on its own. Delaying the pain will only make it harder to repeal this idiotic law. Nobody is going to remember that the Republicans tried to ease the pain of the law. Unfortunately, Rubio is not ready for prime-time. Add this ill-conceived idea to Rubio's amnesty push.
Can't wait to see how they find a way to blame President George Bush for Obamcare's failures! Should be entertaining.
Obama didn't have to change the constitution to become president, so why should Arnold? All he has to do is keep telling everyone that he was born in Hawaii, and refuse to release any and all documentation of his past. That said, I would never vote for Arnold.
Yes, but that was back when we actually had an independent media rather than the propaganda machine that we have today. Back when the media wasn't in the tank for the president.
Putin allegedly stated that, "Negotiating with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon knocks over all the pieces, shits on the board, and then struts around like it won the game." Even if Putin didn't say this, the statement is obviously true.
Republicans could just as easily ask Obama, "Are you really so beholden to one extreme wing of your party that you're willing to tank the entire economy just because you want to get your way on this issue?"
That's so special... that Ventura thinks he needs to sue the widow of an American hero, in order to protect his name in case he wants to get back into politics. How many people would vote for a man who sued the widow (with two children) of an American hero?
