All college, if not high school, students should be required to read The Federalist Papers. This would help dispel the leftist lie that the Constitution is antiquated and not relevant today. There was a whole lot more thinking involved than what we see from today's Progressives.

Good idea, but unfortunately most high school students today cannot comprehend the Federalist Papers, thanks to the Department of Education.

They should also be forced to read James Madison's Original Proposed Amendments to the Constitution as he submitted to the first session of the first Congress on June 8 1789. They then just might learn what each and everyone of those ten Amendments actually ment.
