If I were more of an oddsman, I'd make a very safe wager and say that Johnny Bonehead caves on the deal and signs on for more tax hikes.

I have a feeling that will also happen....he should not sign for any tax hikes if there are not spending cuts...to be honest I would rather just go off the cliff at least that way we are getting some type of cuts....the best thing to do is negotiate to the end and if it doesn't work out then it doesn't work out......

In response to President Obama's new $1.6 trillion tax hike proposal, Speaker John Boehner said today fiscal cliff talks have reached a "stalemate."

"There is a stalemate," Boehner said. "I'm rather determined to solve our debt problem."
