The govt would be grievously wrong to assume a person shows up to vote is a true citizen, since only citizens have that right. All the ID does is prove they are a true citizen. Only people who cant prove it, would want illegal voting to occur. Especially in light of the vast number of illegal aliens in this country. It is not a broken system, it is broke because those charged with enforcing the law, don't...and still get paid.
Wrong. If ONLY Citizens can vote, they should ensure that only citizens can vote...they aren't asking for a permit to vote, paying a fee, paying for lessons...just to vote. If you are not behind bars, you POSESS all of your RIGHTS. If you ever MISUSE a Right, then you can't be trusted with it, then the govt can deny you that right.
Spot on!! And this comes from the people sworn to support, uphold and defend the Constitutions (State and Fed). If the People don't stand on their Bill of RIGHTS (not permits), it will be trampled. If politicians are trampling the Right now (and they clearly are), who or what will stop them from trampling the CCW law?
An unconstitutional act is not a law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; it affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation as inoperative as though it had never been passed. U.S. Supreme Court Norton v. Shelby County, 118 U.S. 425 (1886) Norton v. Shelby County Argued March 24-25, 1886 Decided May 10, 1886 118 U.S. 425 http://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/118/425/
Any law proposed by a politician that violates a basic right as outlined in the Bill of Rights is in direct opposition to their sworn duty, irrespective of party affiliation. Our rights did not come from government, therefore they cannot, legitimately, be legislated against.

Excellent!
The purpose of the BoR is to tell congress that they can't legislate xyz...etc. 2 amendment says they can't legislate against the right of the people to own and carry. They don't have the constitutional authority. The DoI says governments are instituted among men to secure these Rights. Rights don't come from congress or law, they come from God and you are born with them. Also, they all swear to uphold and defend the USCons. So what does this say about our politicians? Traitors to the USCons.
Exactly! They prefer lies, obfuscation and misleading. Traitors to the USCons and to the People that consented.
that is scary! The purpose of the BoR is to tell congress that they can't legislate xyz...etc. 2 amendment says they can't legislate against the right of the people to own and carry.
