This is how diversity and political correction works on today's college campuses. This is an experience my son had with pc as a freshman in 2010. He was attending a small public university in southern IN at the time. He had made arrangements to meet a friend after class. He wasn't clear on where to meet the friend so he was waiting in the hall in the general vicinity of where he thought he was to be. While he was waiting a professor comes out of the room he was standing in front of and berates him for standing there asking why are you, what are you doing here? My son was understandably confused by this as he was doing nothing but just standing there. He explains that he was waiting for a friend.

Why do they call it “political correctness,” when it’s simply political and so terribly incorrect?

Whatever we call it — “a totalitarian impulse” comes to my mind — placing Angela McCaskill on administrative leave from her job at Gallaudet University is just flat-out wrong.

“It recently came to my attention that Dr. McCaskill has participated in a legislative initiative that some feel is inappropriate for an individual serving as Chief Diversity Officer,” Gallaudet President T.
