Here is the problem... the majority of the people in the USA really don't care about Washington. Everything they hear is one of two things: Everything is peachy-keen or its hell-in-a-handbasket. And there are facts to back both views up, if you don't look too closely at them. And most Americans don't think that they can effect a change anyway. So why try. We are apathetic as a whole.
I can't understand what he is saying. Too muffled. Could you put it in writing>?
It will take more than a fiery charismatic speech. You have to have dedicated followers. Most people will not risk the time/money/effort/status to actually see things accomplished. No real heart for it. "What if we lose anyway?" is the real downer. Like so many who didn't get involved in 1776... "we can't beat them!!."
Persons diagnosed with a Narcissistic Personality Disorder are characterized by unwarranted feelings of self-importance. They have a sense of entitlement and demonstrate grandiosity in their beliefs and behavior. They have a strong need for admiration, but lack feelings of empathy. These qualities are usually defenses against a deep feeling of inferiority and of being unloved.[6] - From Wikipedia
Ted Cruz is my senator. He is doing what his constituents asked him to do. If he doesn't speak, then I have no voice. I like to hear my voice!! Good job, Ted Cruz!
Nothing to see here, move along... OH, Uh, there is nothing to see.

I don't know which would be worse... impeaching Obama and putting Biden in the power seat or just letting the secretive leadership of the Obama administration play out. Biden wouldn't toe the mark that Obama follows from his leaders (Jarrett, Soros, etc.). Who would Biden use as wise counsel?
I could wish for this, but it would never happen. I believe that man is depraved and there would be trouble, just because he is selfish. Adam and Eve had it made, but they messed up and got kicked out of the garden of Eden. So would we.

I don't personally know any IRS or NSA employees, nor do I know personally any of their bosses up the the line.It appears that the IRS employees are hardworking, upstanding, just doing their duty people who get their orders from above... and get a constant screening of their job as well. I would just project that the everyday, working employee of the NSA, like the IRS, just does as he is told. And he definitely, as I understand it, gets screened and managed as well. Where I have the problem is the "higher ups" who tell their "underlings" to do things which may be unconstitutional as we see these IRS workers have been instructed. The NSA workers don't have a leg to stand on when they suspect wrongdoing and fear being punished for not doing their work. Who will they tell... its classified!!! And the "higher ups" have definitely shown their character and disrespect of the constitution by "cherry-picking" judges to get warrants, requesting quarterly downloads of metadata, using surreptitious reasons for warrants, and intimidating others for political purposes. Who will oversee the overseers? There is not enough oversight now, as evidenced by what is coming to light. You are naive in your trust.

"Like abortion, it is an issue on which both sides cannot be right. " The writer evidently does not believe in absolute authority. Relativity/humanism instead.
