When they resort to name calling (racist, silly, stupid, etc) it means we have hit a nerve.
I equate this country with an airplane emergency....put your oxygen mask on before you help anyone else.... Stop all foreign aid until we can get our house in order.
Did they poll small business owners that would have to raise prices (oh wait, that would just be greedy, how dare a business make a profit).
I too live in So Cal...6 years ago in anticipation of military retirement, my husband and I bought property in Texas....soon, very soon we will be out of this place. $4.30 a gallon is just the tip of the iceberg....so many things wrong with this state.....and I have lived here most of my life (my husband is from Texas). As Davy Crockett once said “You can all go to Hell and I'm going to Texas. ”
So now only Hollywood and criminals will have weapons.....nicely played NY.

"good presidential candidate because of his connections, effective fundraising, and knowledge of the political process." Nothing about his leadership abilities, ideas for turning around the country, foreign policy, etc...all those little unimportant aspects of being president....oh wait, I misspoke....those are only things that are necessary for a Republican to be president....never-mind.
My kid went to pre-k twice a week ( that was all we could afford on an enlisted sailor's pay) and graduated with honors from college. Imagine what would have been if government paid for full time pre-k.
My thoughts exactly.
She had to pretend to care about the kids during the first term....they got their second term, so they don't have to pretend about ANYTHING anymore....(see: video of first lady at inaugural lunch, scooping it in, eyes rolling, elbows on the table).
Definition of COLLECTIVISM 1 : a political or economic theory advocating collective control especially over production and distribution; also : a system marked by such control 2 : emphasis on collective rather than individual action or identity Any of several types of social organization that ascribe central importance to the groups to which individuals belong (e.g., state, nation, ethnic group, or social class). It may be contrasted with individualism. Jean-Jacques Rousseau was the first modern philosopher to discuss it (1762). Karl Marx was its most forceful proponent in the 19th century. Communism, fascism, and socialism may all be termed collectivist systems. See also communitarianism; kibbutz; moshav.
