We just got my husband's pay check and guess what--we're paying $400 more a month in social security taxes now. I can't wait to see what happens next month! I'm so glad to be in the protected middle class.

You should be glad that money is being deducted again. it should never have been reduced in the first place. You have no idea how much you are going to get screwed out of later in SSI benefits because Obama reduced the withholding. You will be losing more in future benefits than what you got back in reduced taxes. Was it worth it?

Totally worth it because I took that money (MY money) and what I could get out of my 401k and bought 2 income properties. I have NO intention of depending on government to take care of me when I retire. I fully believe that all MY money that I donated all these years to SS won't be there for me to use. I also don't trust 0bama the thief to keep his hands out of my 401k. I'm getting as much as I can out of there before he decided to tax it at 90% or something.

It apparently wasn't enough to raise taxes on 77 percent of Americans with the fiscal cliff deal signed into law by auto-pen late last night by President Obama. In a video put out by the White House, President Obama dishonestly explained what the fiscal cliff means and then proceeded to say some Americans still need to "pay their fair share." Obama said there is more he wants to do to reduce our debt in a "balanced way," because after all, the $41 in tax hikes per $1 in spending cuts apparently wasn't enough irresponsibility for him.
