Why weren't they arrested??????? it is illegal to promote any candidate within a 100 feet of a polling station.

Texans should contact the Harris County DA and demand an investigation. If this story is factual, the NCAA representatives violated the state election code and can be arrested and prosecuted for a class C misdemeanor. More importantly, the election officials, in failing to perform their sworn duties, are subject to class A misdemeanor arrest, conviction, and punishment.

I have contacted the Attorney General's office in Austin and asked them to monitor the situation and follow up. I urge other Texans to do the same.

I hope this is not a false or embellished story, as it may have significant political and criminal ramifications.

HOUSTON, TX - Friday afternoon at an early polling place located at 6719 W. Montgomery Road in Houston, NAACP members were seen advocating for President Barack Obama according to volunteer poll watchers on location at the time.
