And the difference between the immigrants of years past and the immigrants of today is this: In the past, immigrants came to America to make a new life for themselves. The absorbed American culture while knitting parts of their own culture into our national fabric. Today, immigrants come to America to be GIVEN a new life - they demand that we cater to their culture rather than trying to assimilate our culture.

The biggest story of the past election was how President Obama’s team was able to get his interest groups to the polls and how correspondingly the Republicans feel behind on certain interest groups. It is clear Republican failed to capture the votes of Hispanics, Asians and other groups. So let’s take a look at where they are and what they need to do.
