"Because human beings are capable of conscious, sentient, rational thought." Kill off the mentally ill, the newborns, the hysterical and those in comas. They are obviously not human, according to you. Of course, given your stated opinions, you could also be eliminated according to your "standard" due to the obvious lack of rational thought. "Neither can a fetus become a human on its own." As soon as the egg and sperm are united, a new, unique life begins with the full potential to grow in the typical human manner, with the same requirements as any other infant. Let's see how long you last if we placed food and water out of your reach. "It could be. The dirt could be used by growing plants which are eaten by turtles and their...
When a "blob of cells" has the potential to grow as a human individual, what else could it be but a human person? You are still a "blob of cells," so why do you deserve different treatment from a "fetus?" A bunch of dirt and rock has no potential to simply become a car on its own.

I don't think anyone sees the connection between healthy, normal marriage and the union of two or more homosexual deviants.

The Diversity Police Are At It Again

The theory that diversity brings strength is a joke in any spectrum. The ability to put aside our differences and work together was what made America strong, not diversity on its own. But, ideological diversity? How much more self-defeating can a party be, than to accept that nonsense as a principle?

Indeed... I suppose the democrats are now the party of black plantation and la raza racists, being in favor of nonsense as affirmative action and having people who were never slave owners make "restitution" to people who were never slaves.
Why would the "suspect" cooperate? Our wonderful sheriff, speaking in the full capacity of his elected position, has given this murderer so many legal arguments by which he can shift the blame to a more politically expedient target. Rather than recognizing the evil for what it is - one crazed individual with a stated belief of self-superiority, carrying out his own delusions - Dupnik places the blame on talk radio and the "television." While supporting this nonsense, our local, lefty media also uses the opportunity to bash gun rights because of an "extended magazine." I guess the more bullets a gun holds, the more control it can assert over your brain? Another interesting consideration: Nidal Hassan killed and injured more than...

Right, because the fairness doctrine is obviously a republican effort. Because republicans would obviously prefer to condemn their opponents as bigots, nazis, racists, sexists and haters rather than attempt to defend their positions on their merits. Perhaps they left out any mention of the old slavery issue because the last member of Congress (not to mention a life-long member of the KKK) in favor of it finally dropped dead last year? I suppose you consider Robert Byrd a "conservative?"
