Tiller the Killer also transported several of the women who were victims of his many botched abortions to the hospital in his own vehicle, rather than call an ambulance. Some died from his callousness and negligence. He did that so those in the community of Wichita wouldn't know about his butchery, and so he himself wouldn't have to be embarrassed by having yet another of his "patients" rushed to the hospital in an ambulance for all to see.
