Speculation is already swirling about whom Mitt Romney will select for his running mate.
Names like Florida Senator Marco Rubio, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal are generating headlines, but you can scratch each of those names off your list. There is no way Romney is going to select someone with more charisma than he has, which would just highlight his lack of presence or pizzazz.
Neither will Romney select a relative unknown like New Mexico Governor Susanna Martinez, because in Republican establishment world Sarah Palin is the reason John McCain lost four years ago—not the reason...
