Imagine if the press had actually been covering the story from the get-go with the same intensity that they had for say, the Valerie Plame nonsense. Or how about the Alberto Gonzalez "scandal" when he fired too many attorneys? Now THOSE are big stories for our left wing advocacy press to cover. That's because the purpose and end result of the stories was hopefully to drive out a few Republicans from office. Since the press doesn't want any Democrats to be hurt or lose their political power, the story was basically ignored till after Obama was safely re-elected. Can anyone imagine the press sitting on scandalous stories till after a Republican is safely elected?

Exactly, Annfan. Exactly.

The press is complicit in everything Obama does--they love the guy & what he stands for, so they abet him at every turn.

If this travesty had unfolded on a republican's watch, the senate "show trials" would already be underway (witness: Oliver North in the 80's).

The left-wing press has zero credibility whatsoever. None.

.................................Nah.

A new poll released Tuesday by CNN shows that more than half of those surveyed are disappointed with the way the Obama administration handled (and responded to) the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya that claimed the lives of four American diplomats -- including a sitting US Ambassador -- on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11:

Americans are giving the White House low marks for how it's handled the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and the resignation of former CIA Director David Petraeus, according to a new national survey.

But according to a CNN/ORC International poll released Tuesday,...
