A few liberal websites, some cut and paste, and your views were established. Now you cling to them with the tenacity of a bulldog, all evidence to the contrary. In other words, you're a shallow, simple minded person.

Cont. I was an agnostic theist for a while. I did not claim to know either way, but i did believe there was a higher power. After some time i changed my stance to an agnostic atheist, meaning that i do not believe there is a god but i do not claim to know this as fact. I have put much thought into this, and my christian upbringing is as important to my life as my atheism is now. For you to claim that i have done no investigation and that i am simple minded just shows how little evidence you need to cite something as fact, alluding to your own simple-mindedness.

Annfan, i don't know what led you to believe i am shallow, or simple minded. I disagree completely. I have opened my eyes to things other than what i was taught in schools. I probably know more about Christianity than most people who proclaim themselves christian. I just tend to not buy into the dogmatic parts. I do believe Jesus existed and was a great man, just as Gandhi existed and was a great man, just as Martin Luther King existed and was a great man. Jesus taught about tolerance and acceptance. The problem I have with the faith portion is the concept of a god.

If your search for truth hasn't led you to God, you haven't been on one.

CNN host Piers Morgan, who is already facing angry deportation calls from 75,000 Americans over his attacks on the Second Amendment (and no, England doesn't want him back), is calling for a gay marriage amendment to the Bible.

During a discussion on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” on Monday — Christmas Eve — with Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren, Morgan argued that there needs to be an “amendment to the Bible” for same-sex marriage, because like the Constitution, the Bible is “inherently flawed.”

“Both the Bible and the Constitution were well intentioned but...
