Maria Shriver Misses the Point
Why do we insist that it's better to have an ambulance at the bottom of the cliff than to put a fence up at the top?
It's wonderful what women have accomplished so much outside the home; but at what price?
Keeping a family together takes sacrifice on the part of both husband and wife. We need programs that encourage family sustainability. Had women not bought into the lie of "having it all," single mothers would not be facing many of the problems they face today. We would not be looking for more programs for the sake of our children as much as programs that enrich the family as a unit.
The greatest empires fell because of a lack of "real" man-power, i.e. fulfilling the roles we were meant to live, both men...
