Why could not someone with the intellect of Thomas Sowell be our president? We have been saddled with the exact opposite. I must say that the present occupant of the white house makes it easier to recall what animal is representative of the democrat party. Even the so called honor students in our union run schools will get that right

If you ask those kids, they won't know who Thomas Sowell is.

Because the media would do to Mr. Sowell what they did to Herman Cain, make up lies and pay prostitutes to lie and discredit him until he drops out! We need to let the media weave it's lies and just ignore them and vote for conservatives anyway and forget this lying media!

Amid all the political and media hoopla about the "fiscal cliff" crisis, there are a few facts that are worth noting.

First of all, despite all the melodrama about raising taxes on "the rich," even if that is done it will scarcely make a dent in the government's financial problems. Raising the tax rates on everybody in the top two percent will not get enough additional tax revenue to run the government for ten days.

And what will the government do to pay for the other 355 days in the year?

All the political angst and moral melodrama about getting "the rich" to pay...
