Personal liberty is indeed the idea behind libertarianism (and Paul's so-so libertarian philosophy). Absolute freedom like you speak about is far closer to objectivism (think Ayn Rand for objectivist standards).
I support Paul, and unlike the fools "occupying," things, I have a job, Sir. Moreover, as far as I'm concerned, any "religion," that claims sovereignty over my liberties is my enemy. Whether you like Paul or not, don't throw his lot in with the scum of the earth.
