A lot of other information is readily available about this man. I was able to look up what appeared to be his CV online. It is unfortunate that he seems to be so passionate about Latin America and is teaching so many courses on the region.

As a conservative who loves Latin America and speaks Spanish and Portuguese I usually look to Mary Anastasia O'Grady of the Wall Street Journal for insight into the region, not a terrorist who enjoys the death of American soldiers.

I read the story about Jesse Dirkhising at your site before I even knew it was on Townhall. It was probably the most disgusting thing I've ever read, but it needed to be said. One thing I wondered about though was this: Was Jesse Dirkhising himself truly a homosexual? He was only thirteen. This statement by Duke officials is incoherent. What's worse, never once did they condemn what happened to these poor little boys. (I say poor little boys because I can only speculate what happened to the other little boy who was not the one involved in the sting operation.)
