Yes! Decent and honorable President Bush.Driving up through Alabama you could see the thousands of empty new FEMA trailers in the fields--none of the people from Roy Nagin's "chocolate city" would move out of the N.O. hotels (mah baby has fo-,mal-dehide poisonin)., 250,000 (white) volunteers came from all over--most were retired military or from church groups. The Baptist and Methodist churches--thanks to GW's E.O.-, were allowed into the state and set up kitchens. My daughter served the millionth meal Thanksgiving day. FEMA workers were racist to the whites while giving extra coupons to blacks.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: compared with the rather less-than-humble antics of our current peach of a president, sometimes I miss this man. Sorry I'm not sorry.
