I'd love to have Mr. West as the VP.

Allen West would be best in the position of Secretary of Defense. The position Vice President wouldn’t be the best use of his capabilities.

Said like the true NeoCon who ought to be renamed the NeoNuts. How many combat dead are we up now from the Iraq and Afghan Wars? How many egregious wounded veterans, who will rightfully be wards of the states? How many trillions of dollars will we have spent on our wars in the Middle East?

And you still believe that dead idea that the world is afraid of the U.S.? How many more dead, wounded and money will it take before you understand that when people feel it's in their interest, they WILL fight.

Besides why would a whack job like West scare anyone?

Will that get West off welfare?

According to Florida GOP Rep. Allen West, there's something presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney ought to consider in a VP pick: military experience. The Huffington Post had the quotes:

"First time in 77 years there is a possibility that neither the sitting president and vice president, or the candidates for president and vice president have served in the military ... and when I look at the number one title for president of the United States of America is commander in chief, that's what concerns me," West said.

West based his comments on what he sees...
