We as conservatives should care about this more than anyone. It makes me sad to see people here argue that it is okay to kill people without due process and that civilians being hit is not big deal. This is clearly in violation of our principles as Americans, religious people, members of families. I thought 9/11 was a big deal. I bet you all did too. Innocent people were murdered. The terrorists created a force that day that drove us across the globe to find them. These unforgivible drone attacks do the exact same thing. They create a force that puts more troops in danger in Afghanistan because family members of those murdered in Pakistan join the Taliban, plant bombs in the road, and kill Americans.

What are you talking about? If you're standing too close to a missile strike you deserve to die! What if the cops shot your kid when they were trying to shoot a gang member? You would be furious. What if the gang member hadn't been convicted of anything and wasn't in any way endangering the police officer's life. That's what we're looking at here.
Never send a soldier or rocket where you don't need to and are not authorized by congress to.
We're sure hitting them though. The conservative Daily Caller estimated about 280-520 innocent civilians killed in drone strikes. That is unacceptable. I am going to Afghanistan and don't want to face new Taliban members who switched loyalties because they have a relative who was blown up because they were in a market that a Taliban commander was in at the same time too. Also, if I go to Afghanistan and accidently shoot a civilian I can be tried and convicted under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. If the drone pilot kills civilians in Yemen, as they have in the past including Americans, it's somehow accepted as "colatteral damage." That is wrong.
Declaring war on a tactic was one of the stupidest things our government has ever done.
Mr. Benson, Please stop defending these unconstitutional attacks. Congress has not declared war or authorized military action in Yemen. I was reading the conservative Daily Caller last month and they estimated that 280-520 innocent civilians have been killed by our drone strikes. This to me is a big deal. Estimates are that 80% of the Taliban's membership comes from people who joined because of retaliation to drone strikes killing innocent people in Pakistan. This is a bad tactic. It is unconstitutional. This is un-Christian to kill innocent people. It needs to stop. This is not good news. You've never lifted a rifle in defense of your country so please don't support policies that affect those of us who do.
