In response to:

Obama Makes Foul Call for Economic 'Fairness'

You know, we can rant all we want about about Obama's tax plan being a fantastical joke but until the average American understands the Laffer Curve, supply side economics and how lower tax rates can increase tax revenues then "soak the rich" pandering is going to be effective. The problem is not that Americans are vindictive, it is that they are undereducated about basic economic facts. The solution is to develop a steady flow of information to the masses in which basic facts are spelled out plainly. Make it an ongoing series of TV spots. Go right around the "news" people and be willing to pay to get the message out. Romney should be the one doing the talking -- it fits with his "I get business and the economy" profile.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. All the info in the world won't matter, if the morons don't listen, read, or care. I agree that Romney's strategy should be to expose the lies, and teach the facts, but you need the public to tune in and pay attention.

Yeah, but it's tough when they're more interested in American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. It's kind of sad to think that a large number of Americans really are like Homer Simpson. Heck, if they can even pick out their own state on the map it's a good thing. They've really dumbed down education in this country.

The 9/16 Apr Weekly Standard had a good piece titled "Allan Bloom's 'Closing of the American Mind' 25 years later" I attempted to read that monstrosity of a "Publication" right after I retired from the Military; But I said *H4ll with this"-I refused to believe what was being presented and walked away! It Was the Future but I didn't believe it was anything other than a "Snow Job" with the emphasis on 'SNOW"!

You have got to give credit where credit is due.

President Barack Obama has laid out the core message of his re-election campaign. It is a message whose claims are blatantly false and whose point is irrelevant to what is of greatest concern to Americans today.

Despite this, there is no evidence so far that his strategy and messaging is not working and won't be successful.

In his speech Tuesday at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, the president defined what he called "the defining issue of our time."

This defining issue, per the president, appears to...
