Come to Arizona, where illegals drive their 15 year old cars down the street with the flag of Mexico flying from the radio antenna! Where many of the million-plus illegals in the state don't speak a word of English. Where entire sectors of both government and private industries are being taken over by 100% spanish speakers, Mexican hiring Mexican. These people don't care 'squat doodle' about the United States, or becoming Americans. If they had any respect for this country, they would have come LEGALLY, not ILLEGALLY. They are here for the 'bennies' and the 'money', which the RINOS and Liberals are more than happy to pass out to them.

I thought government workers had to be American citizens, either born here or naturalized. Only private industries hire illegals for the cheap labor and to pay them cash under the table, etc.

As for flying the Mexican flag on their cars, American ex-pats living in Mexico don't fly the American flag there; they wouldn't dare, would they?

The MAJORITY of the guards at the State Prison near the Southern border town in Arizona where I live are PRIMARY LANGUAGE HISPANICS.... Spanish is their 1st language, Spanish is the language they converse in when they are speaking to one another. The same is true in many of the local banks, supermarkets, and government offices. Towns further down in the Rio Grande valley do ALL their official business in Spanish. Whether these folks are LEGAL, or ILLEGAL (or a combination thereof) I don't know. What I DO know is that 'blood' and 'culture' come FIRST with these folks, and 'trumps' any question of LEGALITY or ILLEGALITY!

I saw a sign posted next to the cash register of my favorite local Mexican restaurant. It said (in Spanish): "En este lado, nosotros somos Mexicanos tambien". ("On this side, we are Mexicans also")

The sign was 'taken down' when too many 'gringos' asked what it meant...

A friend of mine, Republican consultant Matt Mackowiak, tweeted on Tuesday night that if immigration reform goes through Congress this year "it will almost solely be due to" Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

To which I replied: "you break it, you buy it."

There are two different conservative narratives about Rubio's dalliance with John McAmnesty and the other bi-partisan group of senators on board with his plan. The first is the glowing words coming from Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and now Rush Limbaugh. Just one day after Limbaugh made national news by trashing Rubio's plan, he praised the senator effusively...
